CI&T is looking for a curious, driven, and technically grounded Junior Data Engineer to join our data team and kickstart a career building impactful data solutions. The Junior Data Engineer will support the design and maintenance of data pipelines and assist in delivering data solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for candidates who have foundational knowledge in data and software engineering and are eager to develop their skills in a modern data stack. Responsibilities Data Pipeline Support: Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes under the supervision of senior and mid-level engineers. Data Architecture Assistance: Support the implementation of data infrastructure components such as data lakes and warehouses as directed. Data Quality: Help apply data quality checks and participate in monitoring data consistency and reliability. Integration Support: Contribute to the development and maintenance of integrations between data sources and analytics platforms. Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and support the delivery of technical solutions. Documentation: Help maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation for pipelines and processes. Learning & Growth: Actively participate in code reviews, team rituals, and learning opportunities to build engineering skills. Powered by AI: Be open to leveraging AI tools and automation to support data engineering tasks and workflows.
