We are looking for a Graphic Design / UI-UX Trainee to join our design team and get hands-on experience designing for real websites, digital products, and marketing materials. This is a training role for someone early in their design career who wants to learn how to design for the web and modern product interfaces, guided by senior designers.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in designing website layouts, landing pages, and digital storefronts under senior designer guidance.
• Support the creation of UI components, wireframes, and mockups for websites and web applications.
• Help design marketing assets: social media graphics, banners, email templates, and presentation materials.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into revised design iterations.
• Assist with basic UX research and usability considerations when designing pages and flows.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and design systems across projects.
• Collaborate closely with developers and content writers to ensure designs translate accurately into finished pages.
• Organize and prepare design files/assets for handoff to development.
Qualifications
• A portfolio (academic, personal, or freelance projects) showing design fundamentals: layout, typography, color, and hierarchy.
• Basic proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Interest in or basic understanding of UI/UX principles (usability, user flows, responsive design).
• Strong attention to visual detail and consistency.
• Ability to take direction and feedback well, and iterate quickly on designs.
• Familiarity with web or e-Commerce platforms (Shopify, WordPress) is a plus, but not required.
• Degree or coursework in Graphic Design, UI/UX, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
What you will gain
• Hands-on mentorship from senior designers working on live projects.
• Real experience designing for web and digital platforms used by real businesses.
• Exposure to end-to-end design workflows, from wireframes to final handoff.
• A clear path to a full-time Graphic Designer / UI-UX Designer role based on performance.
