Job Description - Product Manager Reports To: SVP of Product Department: Product Management Location: Remote Position Type: Full-Time Position Summary As a Product Manager at AxisCare, you will own the discovery, shaping, and delivery of features across our home care platform. This role sits at the center of our product organization: you have enough experience to drive initiatives independently, and the judgment to know when to escalate or align. At AxisCare, AI isn’t a tool we experiment , but how we work. Every PM on our team uses AI-assisted tools as a core part of their daily practice: shaping requirements, accelerating research, prototyping, and validating ideas faster than traditional methods allow. We expect PMs to be fluent in these tools and to actively push the boundaries of what’s possible with them. You will work closely with Engineering, UX, and cross-functional partners to deliver outcomes that matter to customers and move the business forward. Key Responsibilities • Own defined product areas end-to-end — from discovery and requirements through delivery, launch, and adoption. • Use AI-assisted tools daily to draft requirements, prototype concepts, explore edge cases, and accelerate the path from customer problem to validated solution. • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through direct engagement, collaboration with Customer Success and Support, and ongoing analysis of usage data. • Partner with Sales and Marketing to understand prospect needs and translate market signals into product opportunities. • Write clear, well-reasoned product requirements and user stories in partnership with Engineering and UX. • Build and maintain roadmaps for your product area, communicating priorities and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders. • Lead go-to-market preparation for your features — including enablement materials, release documentation, and cross-functional coordination. • Track adoption and performance metrics post-launch and use findings to inform next iterations. • Participate in customer calls, industry events, and prospect discussions as a product representative. What We're Looking For (Minimum Qualifications) • 2–4 years of product management experience, ideally in a SaaS environment. • Demonstrated ability to own a product area independently — defining problems, driving decisions, and seeing work through to measurable outcomes. • Strong fluency with AI-assisted tools and genuine enthusiasm for working in an AI-forward environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to align cross-functional teams around a clear problem and plan. • Analytical mindset — comfortable with data, metrics, and using evidence to inform decisions. • Strong collaboration skills with Engineering, Design, and go-to-market teams. • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. • Willingness to travel up to 15% as needed. • Proficiency with product and development tools such as Jira or similar platforms. • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent professional experience. What We'd Be Excited to Find (Preferred Qualifications) • Experience in home care, healthcare, or a related industry. Working Conditions • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals. • Utilization of software and email to perform job functions. • Will need to conduct camera-on videoconferencing for customer calls. Compensation and Benefits • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. • Medical insurance premiums are covered in full for the employee (Medical, Dental and Vision)  • 401K with competitive company matching. • Personal time off, sick leave, and holidays. • Company will provide laptop and other needed computer equipment. About AxisCare According to Pew Research, roughly 10,000 baby boomers turn 65 every day, and the American Society on Aging calculated that an American has a 70% chance of needing help with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, hygiene, etc. This has led to an unprecedented increase in Home Care agencies in the U.S. and abroad who strive to help those who have difficulty helping themselves, specifically offering non-medical (also referred to as non-skilled) services to seniors in their homes. AxisCare was started in 2011 by industry leaders to help meet the demand for a more userfriendly and mobile-compatible solution. Our product is a web-based management platform that helps agencies manage CRM and marketing, Caregiver/Client scheduling, billing, payroll and much more. Headquartered in Waco, TX, AxisCare has clients in all 50 states as well as 7 other countries. We are a fast-growing company seeking high-performing individuals looking for a fast-paced, autonomous working environment. Originally posted on Himalayas
