People Operations Associate About Founder’s HR Lab Founder’s HR Lab partners with high-growth startups and scaling businesses to build the people infrastructure they need to thrive, from compensation strategies to culture design to HR technology that actually works. We combine strategic thinking with practical execution so founders can focus on building the business while we build the foundation for their teams to grow and succeed. About the Role We’re looking for a People Ops Associate to join us part-time and support the delivery of creative, high-quality HR solutions for our clients. This role focuses on direct client project work, helping us execute onboarding programs, compensation research, policy updates, and HR system rollouts, rather than leading client-facing meetings. The right person will have strong judgment, a practical mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across projects. As Founder’s HR Lab grows, this role could expand into a full-time opportunity with greater responsibility and scope. What You’ll Do • Support the execution of HR projects across multiple clients and industries. • Assist with building processes, tools, and programs that improve the employee experience. • Draft and maintain HR documentation, policies, and employee communications. • Research and analyze data for compensation, benefits, and people initiatives. • Assist with benefits administration tasks such as enrollment, plan updates, and open enrollment support for client teams. • Help troubleshoot employee questions on topics like payroll, PTO balances, or benefits access, escalating issues when needed. • Coordinate with vendors or platforms to resolve employee issues quickly and accurately. • Maintain accurate records of employee inquiries and resolutions to ensure a smooth experience. • Provide timely, professional responses to client employee requests while following client-specific processes. • Collaborate with the Founder’s HR Lab team to deliver innovative, practical solutions. What We’re Looking For • 2+ years of HR generalist or people operations experience (consulting or startup experience a plus). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’re approachable and collaborative. • Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities, you can adapt quickly and think things through. • Comfort with remote work tools and HR tech platforms. • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy and professionalism. Why Join Founder’s HR Lab • Work on projects that directly shape how growing companies approach HR. • Gain exposure to innovative people strategies and multiple industries. • Flexible, remote work environment with a collaborative team. • Real opportunity to grow into a full-time role as we expand. Location: Remote, US Type: Part-Time, 1099 Contractor (with opportunity to grow into Full-Time) Compensation: $35–40/hour, 20 hours per week to start Originally posted on Himalayas
